Message From Founder
I’m Bryan Davis, parent of two children in New York public schools and the Founder and Executive Director of Parents Making a Difference (PMAD).
The failure of public education is one of the greatest risks that face our nation because the outcome of today’s students will impact all of us tomorrow. PMAD was founded on a simple yet powerful principle: the only way to make a difference and fix our broken schools is to empower the people who care the most about students -- their parents. We do not have to accept failure any more. Parents can transform schools.
PMAD is in the process of building an online parent empowerment platform that will enable parents to receive free access to cutting edge information and research in the comfort of their home on their computer or TV to empowering parents to make better informed choices regarding their child’s education. Thru our unique Get Involved Program parents are incentivized to take action by harnessing the latest and most innovative social media tools, building a large base of informed and empowered parents with the tools and information they need to advocate for great schools.
As good citizens and taxpayers, we are all responsible for the public schools in our communities, regardless of whether or not we have children enrolled. Why? Because the outcome of today’s students will impact all of us tomorrow, and creating exceptional schools leads to exceptional communities. Please join us on this journey to transform education.
